As I said i still have to work on some chapters because I didn't have internet for a while, so here you go I will start with chapters 14 and 15, in this chapter Jonas receives not very pleasant memories. The first one is when he is with the sleigh on the hill again,but the ground is covered with ice, because of that he falls off the sleigh and injures himself badly, he is in pain and lies there all alone with no one to help him. Now Jonas is the only one in the community beside the Giver who has ever experienced pain, that's another thing that excludes him from the rest of the community.
Next he is to experience the feeling of hunger like a raging animal clawing into his empty stomach. The memory after that is the one of war there's suffering everywhere, but Jonas has to endure it for the sake of the community. The people in the community prefer one of them to suffer instead of all of them, they choose to give up all the feelings and memories in order to avoid pain and suffering.
